Multi-Regional Learning Day on 1/13/01
The New Jersey Regional H&I Subcommittee is hosting a MultiRegional Learning Day that in essence is a Northeast U.S. event.
We are currently looking for a single candidate from each of the above Regions (Note: Greater NY and New England Regions are already on board) to speak on behalf of its Region. Since this is an H&I Learning Day, we ask that the recommended speaker, (Recommended by its Regional H&I Subcommittee), be a current or former member of its Regional H&I Subcommittee body and have a good crisp H&I message.
Our MultiRegional Learning Day will be held on Saturday January 13, 2001 from 12:00 noon til 6:00 PM which will include free food. We plan to sell event shirts as well. Additionally, we are currently seeking members in our Region that can provide overnight lodging for out of state parties.
We have flyers out with directions and can certainly send them out to interested Regions. We are asking interested Regions to provide a Speaker by November 30th but would like to know of your intent to participate by Nov 15th. We also ask Speakers to submit a choice of (3) H&I topics that they are comfortable speaking on.
Incidently, we are aware that this date conflicts with the NE Zonal Forum. We had actually notified our Region in advance but I suppose there was an oversight somewhere. For the most part, there shouldn't be too much of a conflict between these (2) events.
